Just a reminder that if you are planning to donate an article of clothing for the Warm Clothes drive, you only have until December 15, 2017.
The Northern Ontario Joint Apprenticeship Council (NOJAC), Electrical Apprentice 2018 Intake, application deadline is December 15, 2017, at 5:00 p.m. The application can be found on our website under Membership Development/ Apprenticeship or on the NOJAC Web site www.elecno.org/nojac . The application lists the criteria for acceptance, and completed applications are to be returned to NOJAC.
The Next Gen Committee is requesting that members drop off coats and other cold weather items (boots especially) either at the hall or at available unit meeting on or before December 15, 2017, to assist with their Warm Clothes Charity Drive.
The IBEW Local 1687 NextGen Committee is collecting non-perishable food for a Thanksgiving food drive (in our jurisdiction). We will have donation boxes located at various contractors offices and jobsite trailers for members to bring in items to contribute to this worthwhile cause.
