Next Gen’s Warm Clothes Drive Deadline is December 15, 2017
Just a reminder that if you are planning to donate an article of clothing for the Warm Clothes drive, you only have until December 15, 2017.
Electrical Apprenticeship 2018 Intake
The Northern Ontario Joint Apprenticeship Council (NOJAC), Electrical Apprentice 2018 Intake, application deadline is December 15, 2017, at 5:00 p.m. The application can be found on our website under Membership Development/ Apprenticeship or on the NOJAC Web site www.elecno.org/nojac . The application lists the criteria for acceptance, and completed applications are to be returned to NOJAC.
Next Gen’s Warm Clothes Drive
The Next Gen Committee is requesting that members drop off coats and other cold weather items (boots especially) either at the hall or at available unit meeting on or before December 15, 2017, to assist with their Warm Clothes Charity Drive.
Thanksgiving Food Drive
The IBEW Local 1687 NextGen Committee is collecting non-perishable food for a Thanksgiving food drive (in our jurisdiction). We will have donation boxes located at various contractors offices and jobsite trailers for members to bring in items to contribute to this worthwhile cause. Donations can also be brought to unit meetings or the IBEW office. [...]

IBEW OPC Slo-Pitch Tournament – August 11 & 12, 2017
The IBEW Local Union 1687 is hosting IBEW teams from Ontario for the 31st Annual OPC Slo-Pitch Baseball Tournament on August 11 & 12, 2017. Games begin at 10:00 a.m., and Sudbury residents are encouraged to come out and cheer on the players.
