IBEW Local 1687 is once again offering one (1) scholarship in the amount of $1000.00 dollars. This contest is available to IBEW Local 1687 members and their dependents who are currently pursuing a post-secondary education.

All applications for the IBEW Local 1687 Scholarship must include a brief essay, written by the applicant, outlining what they are hoping to achieve through their continued education program.

Deadline for applications is September 22, 2023 at 12:00 p.m.

A random draw will be held at the September 22, 2023, Executive Board meeting, followed by an announcement of the winner on our website. Only the winner of the Scholarship will be contacted personally.

The creation of this scholarship program is a free act of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1687. Local 1687 retains its right to alter, suspend, cancel or halt the IBEW Local 1687 Scholarship Program at any time.
